How to sign up

Pick your sport

Start with the sport you want to play. Open Sports and choose one: each sport's page lists this season's leagues with the level, the night and where it's played. Join a League shows every league in one place.

Found your league? Click League details. That opens it on LeagueApps, where you'll see the dates, the fees and when registration is open. If registration hasn't opened yet, sign up for an email and we'll let you know when it does.

Click Register and sign in

On the league page, click Register. LeagueApps will ask you to sign in, or to create an account if it's your first time: your name, your email and a password. Use an email you check, because your confirmation and your captain's invite will go there.

Choose how you're signing up

LeagueApps asks how you're registering. Pick the one that matches you:

• Team Captain if you're entering a whole team. You register the team and look after the team fee.
• Team Player if you're joining a team your captain has already entered.
• Free Agent/Individual if you're signing up on your own. We'll do our best to place you on a team, and if you want to play with a friend, tell us and we can arrange that too.

Fill in the form and pay

Answer the registration questions, then review your total. The fee is on each league page, and LeagueApps adds a 15% processing fee at checkout.

If you're on a team, you pay your captain and your captain pays us. There's a grace period of two weeks into the season before league fees are due, so teams have time to collect. Payment can also be made by e-transfer to charlottetownsport@gmail.com, or by cash or cheque in person.

Captains: invite your players

Once your team is registered, open it in LeagueApps, click the three dots under Actions and choose Invite Players. Enter your players' emails and send.

Players: the invite comes by email from mailer@leagueapps.com. Accept it, sign in or create your account, and fill in the short form. If you can't find the email, check your spam folder, or sign in to LeagueApps and accept the invite from your dashboard.

Sign the waiver

Every player signs the club waiver before their first game, and again each calendar year. It's separate from LeagueApps and takes a couple of minutes.

LeagueApps emails you a confirmation and a receipt. Your schedule, teams and standings are on the league page under Schedule, Teams and Standings.
